15-Year Old Charged With Manslaughter in Winnipeg Shooting


Winnipeg November 15, 2023 - As previously reported in the Winnipeg Tribune, Winnipeg Police responded to a shooting on November 12, that left one man dead and a youth injured. Police have made an arrest and charged a youth.


Police were called to the scene of the shooting incident around 8:40 p.m., finding an injured male youth, thankfully in stable condition, but also the grim discovery of an adult male, identified as Pharrell Asare, a 20-year-old from Brampton, Ontario.


The Homicide Unit have been relentless and their investigation led them to a 15-year-old male who they charged with a series of grave offenses linked to this tragedy, including Manslaughter, Causing Death by Criminal Negligence, and several firearm-related charges.
