19-Year-Old Stabbing Victim Dies From Wounds

Winnipeg, January 12, 2024 - The Winnipeg Police Service responded to a tragic incident on January 10, that left a 19-year-old man dead as a result of a stabbing. The incident occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. in the first 100 block of Arrow Street, and the victim, identified as Binesi Kennedy, was transported to the hospital in critical condition but tragically succumbed to his injuries.


The Winnipeg Police Service has now launched a full-scale investigation into this senseless act of violence. The Homicide Unit has been assigned to this case, and detectives are working diligently to piece together the events leading up to the tragic stabbing and identify any potential suspects.


Binesi Kennedy, a young man with his entire life ahead of him, has now become the victim of a devastating crime. Friends and family are left grappling with the sudden loss of a loved one.
