50 Year Old Man is WInnipeg's Latest Homicide Victim


Saturday, August 5, 2023 - Early this morning a 50-year-old man became the latest victim of a homicide in Winnipeg.


Police said early this morning, around 3:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police responded to a call about a stabbing on Furby Street.

Police said they found an unresponsive 50-year-old man who had been stabbed. Officers provided emergency medical care for the victim before he was taken to hospital in critical condition; however, he died from his injuries. The suspect(s) fled before police arrived.

The Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation. No arrests have been made.
