Winnipeg, December 5, 2023 - In a thrilling matchup, the Winnipeg Jets triumphed over the Carolina Hurricanes in a nail-biting 2-1 win, ending their four-game homestand. Kyle Connor and Nikolaj Ehlers delivered stellar performances, each netting a crucial goal for the Jets. This win puts the Jets just one point behind Dallas, vying for the second spot in the fiercely competitive Central Division.

A notable highlight was goaltender Laurent Brossoit's exceptional play between the pipes for Winnipeg. Brossoit's .977 save percentage was earned by stopping more than 90% of the shots faced, a stark difference from his first few outing in net this season. His stellar effort contributed significantly to securing the victory.

Looking ahead, the Jets will utilize the next two days for practice before embarking on a challenging four-game road trip, starting in Denver.
