CITY SAYS LITTLE ABOUT PREPAREDNESS FOR PENDING SNOWFALL

Tuesday, April 4, 2023 - City of Winnipeg officials are not committing to snow clearing plans, at least until they determine the amount that falls over the next forty-eight hours.

Officials with the City said their crews are monitoring road conditions and stand ready to apply salt to improve traction on roadways throughout the city as required. Accumulations of snow will be monitored and further decisions will be made as the weather system passes through the city.

Motorists are reminded to drive to conditions and to use extreme caution when driving near heavy equipment.

No winter parking bans are in place at this time.
