Dauphin Driver Caught with Homemade Firearm

Thursday, June 15, 2023 - Dauphin RCMP arrested the driver of a speeding car during a traffic stop after a homemade gun, along with other items was recovered from his vehicle.

When the officers approached the car they noticed a heavy smell of alcohol and a large bag of unmarked cigarettes in the centre console. The driver then failed a roadside alcohol screening test.
