Donation match day is back for the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre


Friday, August 5, 2022 - The Annual Donation Match Day, that began last year at St. James Burger & Chip Co. is back!


This year, the St. James Burger has partnered with Willy Dogs for some friendly competition. The Burger vs. Hot Dog debate will finally be decided. $1 from each Hot Dog and $1 from each Burger sold on August 15, 2022 will be donated to the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre, plus St. James Burger & Chip Co. will be matching any additional donations made by customers that day.


During last years Donation Match Day, St. James Burger & Chip Co. was able to partner with Four Crowns Inn & Event Centre and the Exchange District Pharmacy to donate over $30,000 worth of hygiene products to women’s shelters & schools. St. James Burger & Chip Co. has actively contributed to bettering it’s community both locally, nationally, and internationally. Through promotions, community initiatives, and fundraising, St. James Burger & Chip Co has been able to donate over $63,000 to various organizations and causes including The Rainbow Resource Centre, Red Cross Relief Fund for Ukraine, United Way, Manitoba Mutts, Military Family Resource Centre, Dream Factory MB, Sara Riel Inc., Harvest Manitoba, Never Alone Cancer Foundation, Indian Residential School Survivors Society, and more!


Willy Dogs Inc has donated thousands of dollars to various charities through successful fundraising initiatives including (Bruce Oake Recovery Centre, 210 Recovery Inc, Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Special Olympics of Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre, Never Alone Foundation & The Winnipeg Humane Society).


St. James Burger & Chip Co.’s Donation Match Day will take place on Monday, August 15th, 2022 at 1866 Ness Ave. from 11am to 7pm.
