Golden Knights Soar Past Winnipeg Jets on the Road

Winnipeg, November 3, 2023 - The Winnipeg Jets embarked on a challenging three-game road trip, and it didn't kick off as they had hoped when they faced the Las Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena. The Vegas crowd witnessed a masterful performance from Jonathan Marchessault, who managed a remarkable hat trick, powering the Golden Knights to a 5-2 victory. This marked Vegas's second triumph over Winnipeg this season.

Thursday night, Marchessault, a 32-year-old dynamo, notched his second, third, and fourth goals against the Jets this season. His relentless offensive display halted the early-period momentum the Jets had built, clawing the lead back for the Golden Knights after the game was briefly tied.

The second period saw Marchessault's performance continue as he netted the insurance goal, effectively sealing the fate of the game. And to cap off his extraordinary night, Marchessault completed his hat trick with a late empty-net goal. With this outstanding performance, the Golden Knights extended their unbeaten streak in regulation, securing their 10th win of the season.

Kyle Connor and Alex Iafallo managed to find the back of the net for the Jets.

The Jets are back on the ice Saturday in Arizona for an afternoon match.
