Winnipeg, February 3, 2024 - In the early hours today, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a call for service. At approximately 3:15 a.m., officers rushed to a residence in the 200 block of Fountain Street following reports of an unresponsive male.
Upon arrival at the scene, the officers immediately initiated life-saving measures, providing emergency medical care to the individual. The 43-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was transported to hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Winnipeg Police has since launched a full-fledged homicide investigation into this deeply distressing incident. Members of the Homicide Unit have been tasked with unravelling the circumstances surrounding the man's untimely demise.
