Winnipeg Jets Win in Front of Record Setting Small Crowd

Winnipeg, October 25, 2023 - The Winnipeg Jets triumphed over the St. Louis Blues with a score of 4-2 at Canada Life Place, evening their record at 3-3. David Gustafsson, Mason Appleton, Kyle Connor, and Morgan Barron all found the back of the net, securing the win for the Jets. Goalkeeper Connor Hellebuyck shone yet again with 18 remarkable saves, proving his prowess in front of the net.

This triumph marked the Jets' fourth consecutive win against the Blues and extended their unbeaten home streak to 5-0-2. However, this game carried an emotional weight, as it was the Jets' first without their coach, Rick Bowness, who took a leave of absence due to his wife Judy's recent health scare. Judy's recovery is underway, and Mason Appleton dedicated the victory to her.

The bittersweet victory was celebrated in front of the smallest crowd ever, with only 11,136 fans present, excluding pandemic restrictions.
