Murder suspect wanted by Winnipeg Police

Winnipeg, May 10, 2024 - Winnipeg Police have issued an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Tyron Custer Harper in connection with the homicide of 26-year-old Kevin Delaney Flett. The tragic incident, which claimed Flett's life, occurred on February 25th near the intersection of Maryland Street and Wellington Avenue in Winnipeg.


Kevin Delaney Flett, originally from St. Theresa Point First Nation, was residing in Winnipeg at the time of his death. According to police reports, he suffered fatal injuries in what has now been classified as a second-degree murder case.


Tyron Custer Harper, identified by the authorities as the suspect, is currently at large, and police are actively searching for him. The Winnipeg Police Service has cautioned the public against approaching Harper, describing him as dangerous.
