Winnipeg, December 14, 2023 - The Winnipeg Police Service's Traffic Division is asking the public for information related to a recent motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. On the evening of December 6, around 6:00 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a white Ram-cargo van while crossing Main Street near Armstrong Avenue. The victim, a man in his 30s, was critically injured but has since been upgraded to stable condition with serious injuries.

The driver of the white Ram-cargo van acted responsibly by immediately stopping at the scene of the accident and cooperating with officers. Winnipeg Police have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are seeking the assistance of anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured it on their dash-cam. Eyewitness accounts and video evidence can provide crucial details that will aid in understanding what transpired during the collision.
