RCMP Issue Appeal for Missing Woman in Selkirk


Selkirk, October 3, 2023 - Authorities in Selkirk are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 30-year-old woman, Sanije Elizabeth Sefa. On September 22, at 3:25 pm, Selkirk RCMP received a distressing report regarding her disappearance from a residence within the City of Selkirk.


Sanije was last in contact with her family in mid-August, and there has been no communication or sightings of her since then. It is suspected that she may be in Winnipeg, heightening concerns for her safety and well-being.


Sanije Elizabeth Sefa is described as 5'6" tall, weighing 125 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.


Both the RCMP and her family are deeply worried about her welfare. Anyone who has seen her or possesses information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Selkirk RCMP at 204-482-1222.
