Suspicious Death in Michaëlle Jean Park Prompts Homicide Investigation

Winnipeg, November 16, 2023 - A quiet morning in the Lord Selkirk Park neighborhood turned grim as the Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a deceased individual in Michaëlle Jean Park at around 11:00 a.m. November 14th.


Upon arrival, officers confirmed the presence of a deceased individual. Police have deemed this a suspicious death. The Homicide Unit is now leading the investigation, delving into the particulars surrounding the unfortunate demise.
