THREE TEENAGERS ARRESTED FOR JUNE 29 STABBING


Thursday, July 7, 2022 - Winnipeg Police have not made any arrests in the Canada Day stabbing at the Forks Market, but have for the June 29 stabbing that occured at the Forks.


Police said on June 29, two unknown groups of individuals became involved in an altercation that resulted in two adults getting stabbed and a third victim receiving minor injuries.

  • A 15-year-old female is facing charges of Possess Weapon and Carry a Concealed Weapon.

  • A 15-year-old female is facing charges of Assault, Possess Weapon, Carry a Concealed Weapon and Breach of Court Order.

  • An 18-year-old male is facing the charge of Assault Weapon x 2.

All three were released on an Undertaking (as mandated by the Criminal Code).
