Winnipeg, February 23, 2024 - The Winnipeg Police Service's Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the stabbing at the Osborne Transit Station on February 13, of this year. The victim, a 26-year-old male, was subjected to a vicious assault, prompting urgent appeals for public assistance in identifying the perpetrator.


The suspect, wanted by police, is described as a male in his early 20s, with a medium build standing between 5'7" to 5'9", remains at large. Clad in a black-and-white hooded winter parka, a black hoodie, black neck warmer, and white runners.

The stabbing unfolded onboard a bus, where racial slurs escalated into physical violence against the victim. Amid the chaos, the bus was brought to a halt, and both assailant and victim disembarked, thrusting the situation into the public eye.
