Winnipeg Jets Dominate Defensive Battle, Conclude Homestand 4-1


Winnipeg, November 19, 2023 - Winnipeg Jets displayed an impregnable defensive performance on Saturday night, capping off their five-game homestand with a commanding 5-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes. Holding the Coyotes to a mere 18 shots, the Jets showcased their defensive prowess, sealing their fourth win out of five games at home.


Kyle Connor scored his league-leading 14th goal, solidifying his top position in the NHL goal-scoring race. Mark Scheifele, Vladislav Namestnikov, Josh Morrissey, and Mason Appleton also found the back of the net, contributing significantly to the Jets' triumph.


Jets goalie, Laurent Brossoit stood firm between the pipes, making 16 crucial saves and securing his second successive win.


The Jets, now holding a 10-5-2 record, comfortably claim the second spot in the Central division. Their next challenge awaits on the road as they embark on a three-game trip starting Wednesday in Tampa Bay after this exceptional homestand conclusion.
