Winnipeg Jets Earn 5-2 Victory in Central Division Clash

Winnipeg, November 8, 2023 - The Winnipeg Jets continued their winning streak against Central Division rivals with a convincing 5-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues at the Enterprise Center.

Leading the charge for Winnipeg was their top line trio, consisting of Mark Scheifele, Kyle Connor, and Alex Iafallo, who combined for an impressive 10 points during the game. Connor, in particular, shone brightly, scoring his team-leading 7th and 8th goals of the season, contributing significantly to the Jets' offensive firepower.

The Jets wasted no time making their presence felt on the ice, with Connor finding the back of the net early in the first period. Scheifele, Neal Pionk, and Cole Perfetti joined the scoring frenzy, displaying Winnipeg's offensive depth. Perfetti's second goal of the season, an empty-netter with 2:28 remaining in regulation, put the game out of reach for the Blues and sealed the victory for the Jets.

With this victory, the Jets improved their overall record to 6-4-2 for the season, building momentum as they head back home. The team concluded their three-game road trip with a 2-1 record.

Looking ahead, the Jets will return home to Winnipeg, where they are set to open a five-game homestand against the Nashville Predators on Thursday.
