Winnipeg, March 14, 2024 - In a hard-fought battle, the Nashville Predators secured a 4-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre.

Despite a valiant effort, the Jets fell short in their bid to claim first place in the Central Division, suffering their first home loss to Nashville in five games. Notably absent from the Jets' lineup was centreman Mark Scheifele, sidelined due to illness. This setback prompted lineup adjustments, with Vladislav Namestnikov stepping in between Kyle Connor and Nikolaj Ehlers, while Rasmus Kupari assumed duties centering Morgan Barron and Cole Perfetti on the fourth line.

Despite the absence of Scheifele, the Jets showcased resilience, with Alex Iafallo and Mason Appleton finding the back of the net, supported by goaltender Connor Hellebuyck's impressive 34 saves. The Jets will look to close out their homestand on a high note against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday.
