Winnipeg Police Hunt for Armed Robbery Suspect After Terrifying Incident on McPhillips Street

Winnipeg, March 28, 2024 - Police in Winnipeg are intensifying efforts to locate Krell Curtis McDougall, 22, wanted in connection with a harrowing armed robbery incident that occurred on March 15, 2023, in the 1000 block of McPhillips Street.


According to reports from police, the incident unfolded at approximately 10:35 p.m. when officers responded to a distress call from a 25-year-old female victim. The victim reported being accosted by an armed man who attempted to rob her of her belongings while brandishing a firearm. Despite the assailant discharging the weapon during the altercation, the victim escaped physical harm, and the suspect fled the scene.


The investigation has identified Krell Curtis McDougall, 22, as the prime suspect. McDougall is wanted in connection with the robbery, along with several weapon-related offenses.


Authorities caution the public against engaging with McDougall, as he is considered dangerous.
