Winnipeg Police Investigate a Saturday Morning Homicide


Winnipeg, November 12, 2023 - In the early hours of Saturday the Winnipeg Police responded to a distressing call reporting an injured male lying on a sidewalk in the 1100 block of Arlington Street.


At approximately 2:00 a.m., officers rushed to the scene, discovering an adult male victim in critical condition. The officers applied a chest seal and performed CPR in an attempt to stabilize the injured man. Despite their efforts, the victim's condition did not improve, and he was subsequently transported to a local hospital. The man was later pronounced dead.


The Homicide Unit is conducting thorough interviews as part of their ongoing investigation, seeking any information that may shed light on the incident. Police are urging residents in the vicinity or those with potential video surveillance footage to come forward and assist in the pursuit of justice.
