Winnipeg, April 18, 2024 - Early this morning, April 18, Winnipeg Police responded to a call near Selkirk Avenue and McKenzie Street. The report indicated a male in critical condition.


Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male outside, gravely injured. Immediate medical attention was administered, and the victim was rushed to the hospital. Despite efforts to save him, the man died from his injuries.


The Winnipeg Police Service's Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation and is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. This includes potential witnesses or individuals in possession of surveillance footage that may assist in shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
