Winnipeg Police Make Arrest in Mass Shooting That Left Four Dead

Winnipeg, December 1, 2023 - In the early hours of November 26, 2023, tragedy struck Winnipeg on Langside Street, it was a heinous act that claimed the lives of four individuals and left three others fighting for survival.

A call came in at 4:05 a.m., that summoned General Patrol members from Downtown, West District, North District, and East District to respond to reports of multiple individuals with gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, officers discovered five victims suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

Among those tragically lost were Crystal Shannon Beardy, 34, and Stephanie Amanda Beardy, 33, who were pronounced deceased at the scene. Melelek Leseri Lesikel, 29, and Dylan Maxwell Lavallee, 41, initially in critical condition, succumbed to their injuries after being transported to the hospital.

Further intensifying the grim toll, a 55-year-old male remains hospitalized in critical condition, fighting for his life as a result of this senseless violence.

In a relentless pursuit of justice, the investigation conducted by the Homicide Unit, bolstered by an array of additional police resources, culminated in the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect. Jamie Randy FELIX, 32, a resident of Winnipeg, now faces a series of severe charges, including four counts of Second Degree Murder and Attempt to Commit Murder. FELIX has been detained in custody pending legal proceedings.
