Winnipeg Police seek public's help in locating missing 4-year-old Sadie-Jayne Forbes

Winnipeg, April 1, 2024 - The Winnipeg Police have issued a plea for assistance from the public in locating 4-year-old Sadie-Jayne Forbes, who is believed to be with her parent, Shasa Forbes, 28 years old. The pair was last seen at the McDonald's located at Henderson Hwy and Frasers Grove in Winnipeg at 3:30 p.m. on March 31st, 2024. Authorities suspect they may have left the province and entered Saskatchewan, heading west.

Sadie-Jayne is described as approximately 3 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 36 pounds, with brown eyes and long straight brown hair. She has a small birthmark on her right cheek. She was last seen wearing a pink Adidas hoodie, blue leggings, and blue "Frozen" running shoes, and was carrying a green toy pickle.

Shasa Forbes is described as having long curly reddish hair, blue eyes, and wearing prescription glasses. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with stripes, a red under-shirt, black pants, and brown Ugg boots.

Police are highly concerned for Sadie-Jayne's well-being and are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the child or parent to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.
