Manitoba is home to a peculiar natural phenomenon known as the "Manitoba Maple." Interestingly, the Manitoba Maple is not actually a true maple tree despite its name. It's a hybrid species resulting from the crossbreeding of the silver maple and the red maple. This tree is well adapted to the Manitoba climate and can be found across the province, displaying its distinctive lobed leaves and unique characteristics despite not being a member of the true maple genus.
