Next Gov’t Must Reign In City Corruption


Thursday, September 7, 2023 - It’s nowhere near the top issues at the doorstep, and it’s not a sexy topic, but whichever party gets elected on October 3 is going to have to tackle corruption at Winnipeg City Hall. The $5 million Court award to Andrew Marquess after bureaucrats stalled and stifled his Parker Lands housing plan proves the city charter needs to be revised. As Marty Gold explains, if venture and infrastructure capital avoids our City, it affects everyone’s bottom line.
