Winnipeg, April 14, 2024 - On April 10, 2024, at approximately 8:15 p.m., RCMP responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Raleigh Street in the RM of East St. Paul.

According to witnesses, moments before the collision, both a grey Nissan pick-up truck and a grey Dodge Ram 1500 were observed driving erratically and at high speeds on Raleigh Street. Speculations arose that the vehicles might have been engaged in a race or chase.

The collision occurred on Raleigh Street just south of Pritchard Farm Road, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles. The driver of the Nissan, a 29-year-old male, and the occupants of the Dodge Ram, including three males aged 37, 30, and 26, along with a 23-year-old female, sustained serious injuries. However, none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

Winnipegwildin, a social media account in the city showed what appeared to be a vdeo of the accident as it happened.

Numerous witnesses observed the incident, prompting RCMP to urge anyone with information or potential video surveillance footage to come forward. They can contact Selkirk RCMP at 204-482-1222 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Online tips can also be submitted securely at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
