Winnipeg Goldeyes take a beating at the hands of the RailCats


Saturday, July 16, 2022 - Friday night baseball in Winnipeg saw the GoldEyes fall to the Gary SouthShore RailCats.


The RailCats started early and took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second when Alec Olund tripled to centre field with two outs and scored on a single to centre from Thomas Walraven. That was the start to a 15 - 1 beating delivered by the RailCats.


The series continues Saturday evening at 6:05 p.m. Luis Ramirez (6-2, 3.92) faces right-hander Adam Heidenfelder (1-5, 4.89).
