Winnipeg, March 26, 2024 - Not the start the WInnipeg Jets wanted to kick their five-game homestand, but they did earn a point.

The Jets, now on a four-game winless streak, fought hard against the Oilers, ultimately falling 4-3. Mason Appleton, Sean Monahan, and Brenden Dillon contributed goals, while Connor Hellebuyck's stellar goaltending kept the Jets competitive with 38 saves. Down 3-1 in the third period, the Jets rallied with Monahan and Dillon scoring within a minute to force overtime, securing a crucial point in the standings.

With a record of 44-22-6, the Jets maintain a four-point lead over Nashville for third place in the Central Division. Despite the setback, their determination signifies a promising trajectory as they prepare to face the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, on Thursday.
