Upon arrival, WFPS crews were met with a substantial grass and brush fire the size of a football field. The WFPS deployed a drone to capture aerial imagery, facilitating precise navigation for firefighting efforts, especially in identifying and extinguishing hotspots.
With the aid of specialized wildland firefighting equipment, WFPS personnel diligently battled the blaze. Their coordinated efforts culminated in the successful containment of the fire, which was declared under control by 1:59 p.m. Miraculously, no injuries were reported in the aftermath of this incident.
