Winnipeg, April 22, 2024 - The Winnipeg Jets put on a show in their playoff campaign with a thrilling 7-6 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at Canada Life Centre. This wild opener saw the Jets matching a franchise record for playoff goals, previously achieved in 2018 against Nashville.


Adam Lowry and Kyle Connor each found the net twice, while Josh Morrissey, Vladislav Namestnikov, and Mark Scheifele contributed to the scoreboard as well. Scheifele, Connor, and Lowry each tallying multiple points alongside Gabriel Vilardi, Nino Neiderreiter, Brenden Dillon, and Morrissey.


In other playoff action, the Boston Bruins secured victory against Toronto, while Florida triumphed over Tampa Bay. The Islanders faced defeat against Carolina, and New York emerged victorious against the Capitals. Meanwhile, Vancouver outplayed the Predators in a decisive victory.
